Parents are worried about the current situation in the Ola Girls Senior High School in the Volta Region.

As their wards keep complaining of the worrying situation that leads to students be admitted in Hospital and others experience different kinds of sickness.

One students whose name have been withheld speaking to our correspondent ask the student if the school authority was aware of this situation, she sad, “yes they are aware and they even promise us that they will make arrangements for the dormitories to be fumigated.” And we’ve not heard anything again.

It is so irritating to us, and we feel very uncomfortable, she said. Last my friend was admitted in the hospital for three days, we can’t sleep at night after we are back from preps.

Bedbugs is one of the insects that can suck blood it’s host and can lay dozens of eggs, so within the shortest possible period they can spread from one place to another.

The government and Ministry of education need to take measures in solving this issue to prevent it escalating. The students need a serene environment for learning and we need to Accord them that.
